3) Coffee in the casino and hotel cafe was awful - no flavor at all. 2) Room was missing a make up mirror, which didn’t help my 50+ YO eyes. Would have loved to have gone for an early swim or jacuzzi before bfast and before small children arrive. The only negatives we found: 1) Pool does not open until 9am. Room had a Keurig coffee machine, which was a nice touch.

Mattress was just okay - not bad, but not fabulous either.

We got a room in the Lobby Tower on the 3rd floor which meant we didn’t even need to get on an elevator - just needed to walk down the hall. Signage above the registration desk should be changed so that guests are not confused. We moved to the shorter line and got checked in almost right away. After waiting a while, a person from the VIP line who had just checked in came over and told us we could go in either line. Regular line was really long with only one staff person assisting. There appeared to be two check in lines - one for regular guests and one for VIP’s. Stayed for the first time at this hotel to attend a Pat Benatar concert. Pillows were terrible, but always are in hotels. Incredible bathroom, shower, double vanity sink. We stayed in a King Suite Promenade Tower. Ate breakfast in Minnehaha Cafe- again great service. R& B band that had everyone dancing and singing. The band there late nigth was really good. Very rare these days and appreciated! We ate at the steakhouse - excellent! GREAT SERVICE and food~! We drank at DRINX - excellent bartenders. What we noticed was all the employees smiling, being helpful and friendly. Super comfy auditorium for Wheel of Fortune Live (REALLY FUN EVENT) and excellent service and staff all weekend long.

Called reservations because something was goofy with website and the reservation contact was super professional helpful and upgraded our room due to wife’s birthday. We have been to Mystic Lake several times for events and concerts but never stayed overnight.
